Meeting Minutes
December 27, 2016
The meeting was called to order at 2:00 PM by Selectman John Robertson in the Little Town Hall.
Members Present: John Robertson, Michael Genest, Robert Edwards, Jim Plourde
Staff Present: Donna Hanson
Agenda Items:
- Mr. Mike Hansen from Hansen Bridges made a presentation to the Board of Selectmen regarding building a timber bridge to replace the Grove Street Bridge that was recently closed on the recommendation of the Department of Transportation. The cost for a timber bridge would be approximately $113,000.00 which is considerably lower than building a steel bridge. Mr. Hansen stated that several towns are now building timber bridges for their smaller, one lane bridges in town. It is less costly and fits in with the rural environment. The Board of Selectmen will take it under advisement.
- Mr. Genest moved to go into non-public session under RSA 91-A:3 II (c) application for assistance. Mr. Edwards seconded. Passed 3/0
- Mr. Genest moved to seal the non-public minutes. Mr. Edwards seconded. Passed 3/0
After no further business Mr. Robertson moved to adjourn. Mr. Genest seconded. Passed 3/0
